  • Usage Data: Anonymous usage information such as IP addresses for rate limiting.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the desk analysis Service
  • To display your results on the public leaderboard and timeline (using anonymized usernames)
  • To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
  • To moderate content and ensure safety

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Desk Vibe:

  • Google Cloud Storage: For storing uploaded images.
  • Google Cloud Vision API: For content safety screening of uploaded images.
  • Google Gemini AI: For analyzing desk setups and generating scores and commentary.
  • Google OAuth: For authentication.

These services have their own privacy policies. Your data may be processed by Google in accordance with their terms.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded images and analysis results are retained indefinitely to support leaderboard and timeline features. We may delete data at our discretion or upon user request. Email hashes are stored for identification purposes; your raw email is not stored in our database.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request deletion of your data and uploaded images
  • Opt out of the Service at any time by ceasing use
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data

6. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including hashing email addresses and using secure connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
